Before and After: 4 Fresh Green, White and Wood Kitchens

Elongated hexagonal picket tile in buoyant shades of green and blue sets a midcentury modern tone and draws eyes from every corner of the open plan. The colors are picked up in nearby pillows and a vase, but otherwise the space celebrates mostly white and wood, letting the walnut’s beautiful grain have its moment. The majority two-tone palette also pulls focus to the artistic touches, such as a five-pendant linear chandelier, a custom bench with storage drawers at the side of the island and a custom walnut box set into the upper cabinets,
